We met up with Erika + Kimo as the sun was rising at Kailua Beach for their couple’s session!
Erika is the owner of Perfectly Made Hawaii, a wedding Hair + Make Up business! Erika was actually my hair + make up artist for my wedding in Kaneohe! We will also be working on a wedding TOGETHER next October at Kualoa Ranch – so excited!!
From the first time I met her, I knew I made the right choice in picking Erika to be my stylist, and I really just wanted to be her friend 🙂
It was amazing to have Kailua beach primarily to ourselves this morning before the crowds arrive. If you are wanting engagement photos done on a popular Oahu beach, I’d definitely recommend a *sunrise* session vs. sunset. The light is just as beautiful, and generally much less people.
Kailua Beach is one of my favorite places to swim on the island too! The soft sandy bottom feels like magic on your feet 🙂
We ended our time with Erika + Kimo with their kiddos joining us for a quick family portrait too!
